We are overwhelmed that so many participants have shared their inspiring stories with us! A big shoutout to all the tourism professionals from all over Sri Lanka and the neighboring regions who joined our Crisis Flexibility Challenge. You have developed absolutely wonderful and innovative ideas and solutions during this challenging crisis. It was not easy to choose only three winners!

THE THREE BEST IDEAS

We are very happy to announce the three impact enterprises, that will receive business support in form of consultations, advice from experts, and trainings, including the areas of marketing and website development – with a total value of 3 M LKR

JKAB Park Hotels have been training their currently idle hotel staff to make organic fertilizer which they use in their beautiful ornamental plants nursery for hotel gardens. "Stay Good" will help them increase their income by advertising their plants to hotels along the East Coast as well as with producing marketing content and other training needs.

Back of Beyond ramped-up organically producing fruits and vegetables when the current crisis stopped the tourists from coming. They deliver goods to Colombo, not only from their own property near Sigiriya but also providing market access for neighboring small-scale farmers. "Stay Good" will support them with advertising channels as well as provide a trainer to teach the Back of Beyond chefs how to make delicious pickles and other value added products from their surplus.

Holiday Trail Ceylon is using the crash in tourism to upgrade and diversify their tourism activities. They believe that many travelers, domestic and international are longing to be closeto nature again. And how better to do this than in a mobile safari camp?"Stay Good" will provide the marketing to make this green travel endeavor a success.

CONGRATULATIONS TO THE WINNERS, AND A BIG ‘THANK YOU’ TO ALL THE PARTICIPANTS!
